Difference Between Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle.
Reduce, reuse, and recycle are separate but interconnected concepts. These three words all support one goal to keep the world clean.
Reduce is lowering you consumption of physical objects and natural resources. Reduce means to lower the use of or to end the use from the start. Some ways you can reduce driving is carpooling, walking, biking, or taking public transportation to your destination. You can take shorter showers or replace your appliances with Energy Star appliances.
Reuse is a reusing materials that have reusable qualities. Before throwing an item away consider if the item has use toward a different purpose. Some items you can reuse can be an old shirt that you don't fit can be used for a car rag.
Recycle an item or its components are used to create a new item. Recycling is a form of reusing but it refers to a process that breaks down items into raw materials.

What's the Most Recycled Item in America?
When I asked myself this question I thought it would be paper. Or it could even be aluminum cans. After I researched it's not aluminum cans, only half are
recycled. No more then 70 percent of office paper is recycled. The lead
acid batteries from your car is the most recycled item. More than 99 percent of such batteries
wind up recycled, keeping toxic lead out of landfills and waterways
